Does My Website Affect My Google Maps Ranking?
Your Business Profile does most of the work in Maps — but the website it links to helps Google understand what you do and where.

The connection
Google describes prominence as partly based on information from across the web, including links and articles. Your website is also where Google can confirm the services and areas your profile claims.
What helps
- A dedicated page for each core service
- Clear, consistent name, address and phone that match your profile
- Location pages only for areas you genuinely serve
- Fast, mobile-friendly pages
- Structured data describing your business
What doesn't
Copy-pasted city pages and keyword stuffing add little and can undermine trust. Fewer, genuinely useful pages beat many thin ones.
