What Is a GeoGrid?
A GeoGrid is a map of your Google Maps rankings: the same search checked from a grid of locations around your business, each point showing where you rank.

How a GeoGrid works
A tool places a grid — for example 7×7 or 9×9 points — over your service area. It runs one keyword from each point, as if a searcher were standing there, and records your position in the map results.
Each point is usually color-coded: green where you rank near the top, fading to red where you drop out.
Why it's better than a single rank check
- Local rankings vary by the searcher's location, so one number hides most of the picture
- It shows exactly where your visibility stops
- It reveals which competitors dominate specific neighborhoods
- Repeating the same grid over time shows real progress
What it doesn't show
A GeoGrid is a snapshot of one keyword at one moment. It doesn't show calls, bookings or revenue, and results can vary slightly between scans. It is best used alongside call and lead tracking.
